Sading, 14 Januari 2025 – SD No. 4 Sading merayakan momen istimewa dengan menggelar upacara Melaspas untuk gedung sekolah baru pada Selasa pagi. Acara yang berlangsung khidmat ini menjadi simbol rasa syukur atas selesainya pembangunan gedung baru, sekaligus wujud harapan untuk keberlangsungan pendidikan yang lebih baik.
Upacara dimulai pukul 08.00 WITA dihadiri oleh para guru, staf pegawai, siswa, serta komite sekolah. Turut hadir pula Ibu Kepala Sekolah, yang dalam sambutannya menyampaikan rasa terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang telah mendukung terwujudnya gedung sekolah baru ini.
Makna Upacara Melaspas
Melaspas, yang merupakan tradisi sakral dalam masyarakat Bali, bertujuan untuk menyucikan bangunan agar layak digunakan. Upacara ini dipimpin oleh seorang pemangku yang melaksanakan rangkaian ritual, mulai dari Upacara Mecaru, Melaspas disertai dengan iringan tarian Rejang Dewa yagng dipersembahkan oleh siswa SD No. 4 Sading hingga sembahyang bersama. Seluruh peserta upacara mengikuti prosesi dengan penuh hikmat dan rasa syukur.
Dalam pidatonya, Ibu Kepala Sekolah mengatakan, “Gedung baru ini adalah hasil kerja keras dan dukungan banyak pihak. Kami berharap fasilitas ini dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar para siswa dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kemajuan pendidikan di Sading.”
Harapan untuk Masa Depan
Gedung baru ini dilengkapi dengan ruang kelas yang lebih luas, fasilitas modern, serta area bermain yang nyaman. Para siswa tampak antusias menyambut fasilitas baru tersebut.
Acara diakhiri dengan peninjauan gedung baru oleh para tamu undangan, disertai dengan makan bersama yang menambah kehangatan suasana.
